Virginians for Offshore Wind Welcomes Sierra Club Virginia & 508 Crafthouse

Virginians for Offshore Wind is excited to welcome two new members to the coalition: Sierra Club Virginia and 508 Crafthouse.

Sierra Club Virginia is a grassroots advocacy organization dedicated to protecting Virginians’ access to clean air, clean water and a healthy community. Sierra Club is a committed advocate for the Coastal Virginia Offshore Wind (CVOW) project and its energy and economic offerings for the Commonwealth.

“The CVOW project will create countless clean energy jobs for the Hampton Roads area and has the potential to set Virginia and the nation apart as a leader in this critical industry,” said Eileen Woll, Sierra Club Virginia’s offshore energy program director. “Sierra Club Virginia is excited to be joining Virginians for Offshore Wind in their work to support this project and create a cleaner energy future for Virginia.”

Norfolk’s 508 Crafthouse is known for its exquisite seafood dining with a traditional dining room and a retro speakeasy-style private room. We are excited to have local businesses join us in our mission to champion offshore wind and all the industrial and environmental opportunities it brings to the region.
