Global Wind Day: Celebrating A Wind-Powered Future

For Global Wind Day, we celebrated the advancements of wind energy in Virginia, the clean energy future it will provide, and the partners that are helping us get there!

Our more than 40 members from across the commonwealth including higher education institutions, chambers of commerce, activist groups, local businesses, and more, are hard at work preparing the workforce and forging a path forward for the offshore wind industry.

The Coastal Virginia Offshore Wind project continues to stay on time and on budget to bring incredible clean energy capabilities to Virginia residents. Not only will this project put Hampton Roads at the top of the offshore wind market, but it will drive diverse economic growth across the entire Commonwealth of Virginia.
